Categories in Quantum Mechanics
In what follows I will describe certain types of Categories that arise in Quantum Mechanics as defined in various papers by Isham and Butterfield [2], [3], [2], [3] and by Baez [1].The following description is not intended as a full account of all possible categories that can arise in Quantum Mechanics. Instead, the aim of this section is to show how categorical concepts can be very easily applied to Quantum Mechanics, and might shed new light in the understanding of the theory.
